CHATTANOOGA EDITing & MUSIC TEAMS
TEAM 1 - CHATTANOOGA
Matthew Murr, Lead Editor
Damien Rogers, Editor
Christian Collier, Music
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Matt's passion started with music and quickly overflowed into film and television. Matt moved to Tennessee in 2008 to pursue a degree in Telecommunications from Lee University. While there, Matt worked on various short films, music videos, an independent feature film, and three national television shows. Matt started his own video production company, Nine Line Productions in 2012 right before graduation. Since then, he has established his company as part of the beautiful Chattanooga community and aims to see film continue to grow in this wonderful city.
Chattanooga native Damien Rogers graduated with a telecommunications degree from Lee University in 2013. He loves spending time with his fiancé, film, and listening to 80s heavy metal. As a photographer, editor, and producer at News Channel 9, he enjoys using his passion for videography to give people a chance to tell their story and impact the lives of others in positive manner.
Perhaps the best way to describe him is by what he doesn’t do. Christian is a modern renaissance man (poet, musician, educator, event host, etc.) who has been called a street beatnik, the spoken-word rock star, and an artist to watch among other (mostly positive) things. Regardless of the medium though, Christian’s objective is the same: to genuinely impact and connect with each audience he’s in front of. It is this mission statement that has motivated him to keep pushing himself to delve deeper as an artist, performer, and person. Christian J. Collier is a 2015 Loft Spoken Word Immersion Fellow. He is an accomplished artist and educator who has shared the stage with several members of HBO’s Def Poetry cast, legendary poet and activist Ishmael Reed, Grammy-nominated artist Minton Sparks, etc. and has repeatedly been featured on the IndieFeed Performance Poetry Channel, which prides itself on featuring the best spoken word artists working today. Some of his works have been published on The Guardian website, and in such publications as Oysters & Chocolate, DEBACLE, The New Writer, and The Origami Poetry Project to name a few, and his 2009 chapbookGhosts & Echoes has sold hundreds of copies independently solely off the strength of readings and live performances.

After returning to Chattanooga from living 7 years in Los Angeles, he now divides his time between ReGeered Media, editing with Award winning production company, Atomic Films, and directing short films with his new film production venture, ReGeered Pictures.
Cole Sweeton is a vigilant and active multimedia artist and creative hailing from Chattanooga, TN. Having worked actively as a freelance creative director and designer in the music sector for nearly a decade, he has made a name for himself in Chattanooga and the surrounding area. Cole creates original artwork in mediums ranging from posters to murals to music videos and short films. He stays busy creating new illustrations and graphical artwork for clients around the country. He also specializes in branding and identity. Cole enjoys collaboration and believes that it is the gateway to great things for both the community and art as a whole.
Born in the middle of five brothers in a church-going North Georgia family, Kip grew up singing James Taylor songs in the car with his father, and it was on a borrowed guitar from church that he learned to play his first chords. When he reached adulthood he went out to Oregon, Mississippi, North Carolina and New York City before landing back near home in Chattanooga, TN, nursing a broken heart. There, on the shores of the Tennessee River, he rose from his ashes, forming the rock group, SharkWeek, that has toured extensively throughout the Southeast and become well- loved there. Since then he has made an extremely compelling statement with these "songs about tearing yourself down and seeking redemption." He plans to tour all around the United States in 2015, playing both acoustically and with a full electric ensemble.
